Alicia Summers serves as the President for the West Jordan Rotary Club for 2021-2022. She has dedicated much of her life to giving service through her church, neighborhood schools, and the community serving as Cub Scout Committee Chair, PTA President, School Community Council Chair, and on two committees for the Jordan School District, as well as being a former three-time volunteer for the Sundance Film Festival.

Alicia currently serves as Chaplain for the American Legion Auxiliary Riverton Unit and is the 2nd Associate Director for the ALA Utah Girls State program. She is a proud advocate of patriotism and Veteran appreciation.

Alicia is the Scholarship Specialist at Copper Hills high school, working with students to prepare for, find, and apply for scholarships. She also assists students in navigating college admission steps. Three years ago, Alicia chartered the Copper Hills Interact service club, which is sponsored by the WJ Rotary Club. This is when she became a Rotarian, and she proudly serves the city and local communities in many service projects and outreach, including recognizing Students of the Month from local high schools.

Alicia has been married to Rob Summers for 31 wonderful years. They share seven children, including a son-in-law and two daughters-in-law, and have six adorable grandchildren. Alicia lives in South Jordan, Utah.

“Rotary means more to me than the outstanding service I am able to provide for others, it is an amazing network of people that teach me about sacrifice and friendship. I am proud to be a Rotarian and grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to join my efforts with thousands of brothers and sisters around the world to make our communities a better place to live.”

We welcome new members! Please contact me if you are interested in making a difference and exemplifying the Rotary motto: “Service above Self.”
